Grief in Motion

Grief In Motion is a gentle, trauma-aware space where grief is welcomed and allowed to move through the body. Through breath, grounding meditation, and intuitive movement, you are invited to release, express, and honor what you feel.
Led virtually by Freia, Director of Lumina at the Center For Mind Body Balance, you may choose to have the camera on or off, allowing you to move freely and comfortably. Together, we will dance, sway, shake, and stretch—reminding our bodies that we are safe, held, and supported while navigating grief. Each session will be cushioned by a gentle guided meditation and group breathing.

No dance experience is necessary. Grief In Motion is for individuals who are ready to listen to their bodies and allow grief to move, rather than carrying it alone.

You don’t have to move on. You are allowed to move with grief.
First and third Sunday of each month, 10-11am. This is virtual on Zoom.
