Freia has had the pleasure of working internationally as an actress and model. She's been seen in publications such as Document Journal, and featured in Milan Fashion Week, commercials, television, film, and in off-Broadway productions. 

Her work as a filmmaker, creator, writer, and artist has been featured in international film festivals and publications such as the Norwegian American, Medium, Hyperallergic, the Mosesian Center for the Arts, the Knockdown Center, and more. Freia is fiscally sponsored by the Gotham Film & Media Institute and is currently working on an animated film centered on folklore. She has presented at international conferences and published pieces in Feminism and Religion & more.
